Team EliteFTS Member Kroczaleski Captures Best Lifter and Heavyweight Titles at UPA Pro-Am
Dubuque, Iowa (July 17, 2008) — Team
EliteFTS powerlifter Matt Kroczaleski (Grand Ledge, Mich.) earned Best Lifter
honors while winning the heavyweight division at the United Powerlifting
Assocation (UPA) Pro-Am, July 12-13 in Dubuque, Iowa.
Competing in his first UPA meet, Kroczaleski, a former World
Powerlifting Organization (WPO) record holder, surpassed the 2,500-plateau for
the first time in his career with a total of 2,503 pounds. His overall total
included a squat of 1,014 pounds, a bench press of 706 pounds and a deadlift of
783 pounds.
