Elite Fitness Systems Helps Upgrade the
University of Pittsburgh’s Football Weight Room

LONDON, Ohio — (Feb. 4, 2009) — Elite Fitness Systems (www.elitefts.com), an established leader in strength training and fitness products, has provided the University of Pittsburgh football team with its signature strength training equipment to help upgrade the program’s weight room.
The equipment that the London, Ohio-based company supplied to the Duratz Athletic Complex includes: eight EFS Collegiate Power Racks on Platforms, each of which are equipped with a custom chin bar, EFS signature band pegs, and storage for chains and bands; and eight EFS 0-90 Collegiate Benches, which are built for bigger players. Each power rack and bench also comes with a customized Pitt logo.
“We chose Elite Fitness Systems because its equipment design is by lifters for lifters,” said James Smith, assistant coach of physical preparation. “When you have been training for as many years as I have, and have used as many different pieces of equipment from a variety of manufacturers, you appreciate the little features in a product that are necessary, but might not be noticed by the average lifter if not they are not available.
“The spacing between the pinholes on a rack, the size of the j-hooks that hold a barbell or even the height of the horizontal support between the two vertical supports so that you can get your foot underneath it properly—these are the things that make the difference.”
Elite Fitness Systems strives to be a recognized leader in the
strength training industry by providing the highest quality strength
training products and services while providing the highest level of
customer service in the industry. For the best training equipment,
