One day you wake up to find yourself in a precarious position. You either want something greater than you already have or are, or...you want to rid yourself of something that no longer is comfortable. THAT is what motivates a person! Pain or Pleasure. You become uncomfortable with a situation, your condition, your strength, you body image, your economic status so much so you leave your current comfort level. On the other hand, you WANT something. A new house, a new car, a World Championship, make a starting position, look better in a bathing suit, look better OUT of the bathing suit, better health...what ever it is you are moving towards something. But to get there or even start the process you have to re arrange that "comfort zone". You need to shake things up and then get use to the new routine (s). You may have to adjust your sleep pattern, your social life, or family life. You may find yourself needing to move meetings around to make time for the new activities you must engage in order to routinely practice. There will be days that you aren't motivated. There will be other days you can tear the ass end off a charging rhino. No matter what, if you are disciplined to "DO" then you will no matter what your motivation level is. Being Disciplined is more important than your motivation. Don't quit! EVER. 100% effort, 100% of the time.
