As powerlifters, we all love to go heavy, heavier and heaviest, but filling in the gaps in between max effort type days is an integral part of a successful powerlifting program. The purpose of this log is to demonstrate that even with a crew of lifters, most of which can pull into the 700’s, some training days are about the work, NOT only about big weights. Getting caught up in the moment and deviating away from the training plan now and again, A-Okay, getting caught up in the moment all the time is counter-intuitive to your overall programming.

Regulating Volume for Old Dudes
Establishing a system whereas the volume of training is systematic and based on subsequent training sessions can be challenging. Eliminate some of the guesswork.
