Off season training has been fun trying different exercises and building weaknesses. I'm also trying to keep my legs strong with minimal knee bend exercises.

EARTHQUAKE BAR BENCH (Amazing stabilizer)

2 x 26 lb bells x 10/10

2 x 35 lb bells x 10/10/10/10/10

BELT SQUAT HOLDS

270 lbs x 5 mins (every 30 secs 3 x 1/4 squats)

270 lbs x 5 mins (30 sec hold then march for 30)

180 lbs x 2 min march followed by 2 min hold WOW

BANDED LEG EXTENTIONS

20/20 20/20 20/20 20/20

BANDED SEATED ADUCTOR EXTENTIONS

20/20/20/20

STRAIGHT LEGGED DEADLIFTS

80 LB Bell x 15/15/15/15

DEADLIFTS

256 LBS X 3

346 LBS X 2

I have not deadlifted since the Arnold and honestly had no desire too until yesterday. I have been watching Ken work on his deadlift and was inspired by his dedication to working on getting his numbers and technique up.

Yesterday I decided to see how it felt. The 256 warmup went up like butter I was shocked. I guess the rest helps alot. The 346 lbs also felt light. I do not feel I have lost any strength with my off season training.

80% accessories, 20 % main lifts, the Westside way works!
