Background: I work at OSU as a graduate teaching associate and lift at Ludus Magnus. I am a raw lifter who competes in the 105lb weight classes, and am currently prepping for my next meet (when grad school finally gives me a weekend off) . Currently, I am in the process of trying to accomplish my lofty lifting goals,survive graduate school, and teach undergraduates about what I really love, TRAINING..

Eccentric Block Wk3: DE Upper

Warm up 1. 3 x 20 each slams (sledgehammer ) 33. x failure inverted rows

Neural prep 1. 4-sec eccentric plyo push-ups 3 x 3

2. Barbell press-push press-press 4 x 1+ 1+ 1

Training 1. Barbell Speed contrast bench v. double micros using cambered bar 8 x 3 + 1 One set: X 3 x 50% x 4 count eccentric X 1 x 70% x fast as possible

2a. Inverted rows 3 set x fail 2b. Hammer hits (again) 3x 20 each 2c. Stiff arm lat pulldown 3 x failure

Jenn 0 I'm losing at this month and we are only four days in, oh boy...

On the bright side though, all my students in strength lab can tell you that all training has a neuromuscular component...I'll take that for a point for life in general!
