I’m currently in meet prep for the 2015 XPC Finals at the Arnold Sports Festival during the weekend of March6-8th. I will be competing on Friday, March 6th, 2015 at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps.
I'm a bit behind on logs with the revamping of the new site and just some other things going on. Training has been going well though and I'll get every back up to speed in no time.
This training session was a great way to end my heavy work before a deload. I got to handle some heavy weights and really build a ton of confidence before the final leg of prep. I've learned from some good coaches that it's not about going all out all the time and taking smart choices during prep, and that has yet to fail me since. I'm going to keep that moving forward. This was a bit of a change compared to what I normally do, but I liked the way it worked out. Sometimes experimenting pays off.
