Reverse Band Presses
In this clip Dave, John, and their group are doing some heavy reverse band presses. These work much in the same fashion as benching against bands by overloading the top of the lift. This is another way to feel a heavy weight in your hands and gain confidence.

Swiss Bar Pressdown
Using the new Swiss Bar attachment. This is a great attachment with three different sets of neutral grips
Prone Bench Rear Delt Raises
This is an exercise that seems to be a favorite of both Dave and John Meadows. High-rep rear delt raises done -with a lot of body english, when necessary- on the prone bench. In the words of Dave himself, “This sucks.”
Decline Machine Press With Bands
Dave Tate and John Meadows were hitting the decline bench machine pretty hard. So hard, in fact, that they rigged up some bands to add more tension to the lockout. The machine barely survived this encounter.
Barbell Rows
Steve Pulcinella is in the house! Well, he’s actually at the EliteFTS Compound. He’s here to please the fans, and we asked him to hit some heavy barbell rows for us. He kindly obliged.
Double Front Delt Ropes
Some people use ropes for conditioning, we use them to get a delt pump. And also for conditioning. But only after we’ve gotten a delt pump.
Feet Up No-Lockout DB Presses
This is another one of those exercises where it seems like everything is being done wrong, but in fact, the desired goals are being achieved exactly as planned.
Leverage Meadows Row
This is a variation of the Meadows Row, an exercise that John Meadows believes has helped put more size and detail in his lats than any other movement.
GHR with Band
This is an old school exercise index clip that was either taken from some of the very early (now discontinued) Westside Barbell Videos or from Dave Tate’s early Westside Seminar Slideshows.
