One thing I have changed is how I have been warming up. I’ve really reduced the number of reps and have made larger jumps in weight as I warm up.

I’ve been feeling pretty good and my weight has been on a steady increase. At this point I’m pretty sure I’m just going to walk in for my next meet in the 242 class.

Matt Smith joined us the other week for a bench session and I believe is going to be training with us some on the weekends. He’s one very big and strong guy and has a lot of knowledge to offer us. It’ll also be great having a new set of eyes watching form and technique.

Breaking the bad habit of shifting/twisting I picked up due to favoring my strong leg must be corrected. The only way to do this is with correctly performed repetitions….lots of them.
