People don’t have to like you and you don’t have to care.
Mental toughness or strength is a part of ourselves that needs progressive development.
You aren’t the same person you were five years ago, and you won’t be the same person you are five years from now. That’s why you must develop your mental and emotional toughness with time.
Our lives keep changing:
- We lose people and meet new ones.
- Leave a job and adapt to the new one.
- Move to a new town where we feel secure and content.
You can’t solve or face the problem you have right now with the mindset you had 5 years ago. The issues and difficulties you are dealing with now are much more complex and challenging, requiring a new mindset.
Mental toughness can be strengthened and developed by:
- Reading books
- Being courageous and facing/solving problems
- Working on goals
- Being open-minded and adapting to new changes
People who are mentally and emotionally strong are known to be more resilient, happier, calmer, and more confident than the average person.
Since you keep changing, you must give yourself some time to improve your mental toughness.
