What is Active Rest?
Great question.
Active Rest is something you do in between sets to either improve mobility/flexibility or to add volume without affecting your recovery set to set and session to session.
Let’s get right to our list of 5 Band Exercises You Probably Aren’t Doing and start with Active Rest.
I am not going to bother describing these too much, the videos do it better.
Plank with Band
Hip Pop/Glute Bridge with Band
Back Attack in GHR
Next on the list is Barbell based movements for Max Effort, or Assistance work.
Rack Pull (or Deadlift) with Bands at Hip
Sumo RDL with Bands in Front (pardon the 100% ineffective mask, this was shot during the stupid times)
