Do you want to Lift More, Correct Flaws, Avoid Injury in Less Than 5 Seconds?
If you answered anything else than YES stop reading this.
Still here?
Good.
I’m going to give you one tip that takes less than 5 seconds to implement before every rep that will allow you to:
-
Deliver more force
-
Move faster
-
Lift more
-
Correct technique flaws
-
Prevent injury
-
Align your joints
-
Be more awesome
What can be this good and this fast to implement?
Proper Rooting of the feet.
This is the single , most important thing you will ever learn about lifting weights!
Yeah, I talk about it all the time and so do many others, but in my opinion, this is the single most important thing you need to do regardless of the lift.
Your foot needs to be a tripod with the weight evenly balanced between the big toe, the pinky and the heel.
Most flaws in the squat and deadlift, and to some degree the bench can be traced back to the root.
- Pinky to comes up, knees move out of position
- Big toe comes up, knees get silly or go too far backwards
- Heels come up, you fall forward
This is a short list of flaws we can trace back to the root. There are more.
And, if your root is not good, the joints will be out of alignment. We need all of our joints bone stacked.
Imagine that your joints were poker chips. You need a nice, neat stack of them or they fall over.
Line up all of your joints and watch your lifts improve and pain decrease.
I could write about this for hours and use 55,000 words, but a video is better.
Watch the video, implement what is in it and keep practicing.
I think the description I use in it will make how to root properly much more clear than other ones you may have heard.
I apologize for the awful camera work.
I'm more of a star than a Director.
Please take 3 minutes and watch this video with my assistant and Powerlifter, Emily Aldrich and learn to correct most flaws in 5 seconds or less!
As always, thanks for reading and watching.
