I run the gym in such a way that it allows many people to consume a small area without slowing down or running into backups.

If someone hiccups and throws the rhythm off it will snowball over the hours and cause chaos throughout the day.

When people begin to check their cellphones or have earbuds in because they don't enjoy the music I've selected and end up asking me to repeat myself multiple times, this is the start of that hiccup.

I have a long fuse when it comes to dealing with people. (I muse that I take medication for that, but I don't) However, when that fuse is at its end, I will revert to old ways with a sharp sarcastic tone and increase in volume.

The mood was set, I was at the short end of my fuse, the music pumped ME up and I pumped them up, so there was no need for the 'buds. Cellphone use was cut off with "THEY CAN WAIT"! AND!!! It's Throat Punch Thursday. I was primed to enforce Rule #67 which states: "No Complaining"

People got sent home and told to "come back and try it again tomorrow"

Feelings got hurt, but the momentum of the gym was regained.

That should be THAT!

Time to eat.
