This morning I felt like I didn't want to cycle to work as I normally do, so I chose to drive my car. I didn't! I rode my bike.
This morning I walked into the gym and saw it a mess and felt that I needed to teach the night crew a lesson and not clean the gym as I normally do on Friday mornings. I didn't! I cleaned the gym as I always do.
This morning, I didn't feel like training and decided it would be a good day to take off. I didn't! I trained anyway.
THIS is a case where I wasn't motivated to do ANYTHING, but I did EVERYTHING anyway!
It's so automatic that the discipline I have worked on over the years simply took over for my lack of motivation. And by the way...
- It was a wonderful bike ride in and return trip home
