Over the years I have broken down people into the type of learner they are based on their actions when I explain the "how to" of an exercise.

The basic categories are:

  1. Visual Learner
  2. Auditory Learner
  3. Tactile Learner

They can be combinations of two or even all three.

I have two new people in my program who have invented yet another category, They fall into the fourth group of "None of the Above" and they simply don't have the capacity to learn ANYTHING.

They show up, daily, and for THAT I have hope. But they fall under my saying of To know and not to do is not to know. For if they knew, they would do. Since they don't, they don't know.

The difference between ignorance and stupidity? If you don't know something and you do it wrong, but you tried, you are simply ignorant. (and no one can fault you for that). However, if you KNOW and STILL do it wrong, well then...you're STUPID!

I won't give up on them. I will speak LOUDER because yelling helps ME! haha
