Since I've moved my gym to a new location and have limited Cardiovascular equipment, I needed to get creative in a few of the workouts. This one in particular covers a lot of ground.
I have several very competitive people who train in my facility. Some are quite strong, others are in GREAT shape. (Some even combine both. Imagine that?)
I have TWO metabolic infernos that will tear workouts like this one apart! The average time for most to finish this one was about 75 minutes. Jackie O turned up the heat and completed it in 50 minutes. Right on her heels was a new 15-year-old female soccer player who "has it", with an hour on the dot. Eight minutes behind her was the strongest male showing.
"C'mon guys!!!, Obviously this isn't the Olympics"
It was fun to watch it unfold.
Today's Training:
Run: Sprints 6x100 yds after warm-up
Cycle: Commute
Done as a huge circuit: 5x20 of the following:
- BOSU Sit-up
- Push-up
- "V"-bar Pulldowns
- Fat Gripz EZ Curls
- Fat Gripz Tricep Rope Pushdown
- Blast Strap Row
- DB Supine Tricep Extension
- Hammer Curl
- DB Lateral Raise
- Dips
- Reverse Grip DB Curl
- DB Front Raise
- Flat DB Fly
- C/S Kick Back
- Concentration Curl
Along with the workout on my board, I added this note:
This is a 1500-rep "conditioning" workout. Go from one exercise to the next without resting. There is no time for idle chit-chat. Get moving and stay moving. If you take a break you will lose the piece of equipment you WERE using. Complain just a little and you will get throat punched even though it's Friday. Fuck your feelings, no one cares! EXPECT the great thing to happen you glorious bastard!
