I try, really I do...I try to stay open-minded while attempting to continue my learning in the Strength and Conditioning field. BUT...between Podcasters and their guests, Fitness "Influencers" (The fuck is that?), and Wannabe Strength and Conditioning "Coaches" (I quote that term because it's rare to find one), where do they come up with some of this nonsense they spew?

People are making it sound harder than it is to get into a condition and increase strength. I wonder, is it to make them feel smarter? Maybe make a name for themselves? Whatever it is, I consider a couple of things:

  1. Does this person LOOK like they apply the principles they are preaching?
  2. Does this person have the EXPERIENCE of training successful people?
  3. Can they explain their principles so that I can understand them?

If there is a "no" to any of those three questions, I move on.

Here it is boys and girls...Get up and do SOMETHING! Tomorrow, get up and do a little more of some things or do it faster, or add a bit more resistance.

Then, drink more water and consume less sugar.

Eat! Don't eat stupid shit. Eat meat, fish, chicken, and stuff that comes from the ground or off a vine. Eat THOSE things that are in season, preferably.

Did I mention, consuming less simple sugar?

Mix in some salt. It isn't as bad as they said it was.

Sleep. Eight fucking hours. Can't sleep? Work on it, it's the BEST restoration you can do.

There, that should cover the Over View. I suppose I'll never do a podcast thingy because I'd finish in less than three minutes.

I could move on to training programs, but that might take another three minutes.

Don't make it too hard. Don't overthink it.

Get your ass moving and do something that sucks every day.
