Well, the kids are calling it Snowmaggedon II. We're getting a pretty nasty storm, even by New England standards. I'm impressed... and scared. The idiots around here really exhibit no common sense when it comes to driving in any weather that isn't perfectly sunny. I'm seeing more and more why the south lost the war.
Anyway, with snow in the future the powers that be cancelled school and it was a solid call. Problem is, football had a scheduled lift at 6am and 7:15am. Can't miss a lift because of frozen water. Luckily there was no snow falling at 4:45am when I left, so GAME ON!
After the lift we had a recruit come in and it was my turn to get it in. I decided to pull off of a 2" pad and see how my back felt so I abandoned my numbers for the week and had at it. In lieu of lighter weight I donned the weighted vest all day.
- Deadlift warm-ups 3x5
- Ab Rollouts 3x10
- Deadlift 8x5@225
- Push-ups 4x15
- Pull-ups 4x5
- DB Shrugs 2x25
- DB Curls 2x25
Short and sweet and awesome. I feel great! Ready to sit on the couch and get snowed in.
