While I do believe that everyone does need someone looking over their Training Programming, you still have to learn how to coach yourself once you are in the gym. It is great if you have a team of athletes who are also coaching and cueing you and your ever move on your every lift BUT if they are spending all of their time talking to you...are they even training themselves?
You must learn to talk to yourself and to coach yourself before every set and mentally before and during every rep. It is the difference between a weight made and a weight lost. The difference between a PR and a wasted training session. Sometimes the difference between recovering from an injury and continuing to make progress.
Here is an uncut video of me coaching myself. Actually...seems as if YouTube didn't like the amount of Bob Segar that was on my radio during my sets so I had to cut a few pieces here and there to work around it.
