I was going to write a rant today about some really bad internet coaching that came up in my DM’s the other day.

 

 

Changed my mind, and I reserve the right to change it back next week and rant.
Instead, I decided to touch on an issue that affects many lifters; wrist pain while benching.

Specifically, on the Close Grip Bench Press.

Wrist pain usually comes from a poor wrist/hand position, and almost always will on the Close Grip.

 
We all, or should all know that the Close Grip Bench Press is a monster assistance exercise for a big bench and also for BIG triceps.
