The small things done right lead to getting the task in it's entirety completed correctly too.

As simple as it sounds...Do the first things FIRST.  One thing at a time then the big thing that will happen doesn't seem so daunting.

If you do the second or third things first...then it will be a project built on stilts instead of a strong foundation.
