This last week I had the pleasure of flying to Prince George British Columbia to help out my friend Amit Sapir who I have been helping out with his training this year.
Amit's frist meet was at GPC Worlds last year after we spent a couple coaching sessions together. He did one test meet in April to feel out where were at after a Hamstring tear around the beginning of the year.
I'm quite pleased with how he has progressed and his passion for the sport is inspiring. Amit has pushed through some devastating injuries that are affecting his Bench and Deadlift significantly still. However he hit a PR and World Record on the squats and Post-Surgery PR on Bench and Deadlifts.
Squat
738 - Good
751 - Good
766 - Good
782 - No Lift
Bench
315 - Good
383 - Good
402 - Good
419 - Good
Deadlift
523 - Good
578 - Good
606 - Good
I would call 10/11 and a World Record a successful meet. The final attempts were all dialed leaving little extra lbs on the platform.

As for myself I got some training in all week hitting 6 days as usual. Have not gotten in the groove as of yet to capture my daily high volume training but starting to ramp up the weights again. I trained the day before the meet and after the meet at Xconditioning in Prince George.
Last week I spent at Donnie Thompson's gym training and sharing knowledge each day. It was a fantastic collaboration and we both took in a bunch of knowledge from each other. I'm hoping to get some of those video's posted up in the future.
This week will be my last week of training for a couple weeks as I have 3 seminars (North Carolina, Hawaii, Oregon) and almost 2 week vacation in Hawaii planned with my family.
