Who: Me, only me. And the voices in my head.
What: Weightlifting, a sport that I'm not good at but am getting better.
When: Friday, October 30th 2015
Where: The House of Biceps
Why: Because I refuse to be anything less than "better", which inspires me to sit down every week and figure out what I am doing wrong and how to get better at it. It is a game of chess where I perform, study my videos, make a plan, work on it all week, and execute my plan on Fridays. THEN I repeat the process again.
How: Let me explain...

Snatch: I need to continue training in the 75-85 kg range because anything above this I start to loose my fluid technique. I can lift MUCH MORE but I do it very incorrectly. I need to thread that line of what weight I can do with good technique and do most of my reps in that range. Right now it is around 85 kg and I'd like to push that to where I can do good solid reps around 95...which means baby steps and perfect planning.

warm ups
75 x 3
85 x 3
92.5 x 1 x 2 sets
97.5 x 1 x 2 sets
102.5 x 1 x 2 sets (Season's Best)
87.5 x 2 x 3 sets, working to get faster and lower

Clean and Jerk: The goal here is to get smoother, finish the pull upwards, feel the bar brush my thighs (not smack my legs or my waist), spread my feet outwards after the pull, land on my heels, and let go of the bar after I make the pull. I can do most of this in the 85 kg range but not less and not more. There is a fine line. If you watch closely I did this with less than 75 kg this week and that was HUGE! Meant I "felt" the weight and "exchanged" with it. I had issues with the heavier sets but I'm getting closer
