A few weeks ago I was invited to speak at Spartan Race World Headquarters by my good friend, and legendary coach Zach Evan-Esch. I was honored to say the least.
He also surprised me with the bomb that Spartan Race CEO, Joe de Sena was speaking with us.
If you don’t know who either of these two guys are, you should. I’ll just leave that at that.
A quick word on Joe de Sena. Joe is a zillionaire and a world famous guy, so you’d think that he is possibly one way.
You’d be wrong. Joe is one of the coolest guys I’ve met in a long time, a totally normal dude, who is also one of the most motivated, driven and focused people I've met as well.
Enough ass kissing.
The seminar was called the StrongLife Experience and Zach asked me to talk a little on business, a little on life and a little on training. I put my presentation together and got up and gave it 100%. I talked about the Secrets to a Stronger Life. Without giving away all of the presentation, my keys to a StrongLife are as follows:
- There are no secrets
- Ask for help
- Create a network
- Never quit, ever
- Start small, stay small until you are bursting
- Keep your passion
- Conduct yourself as a pro/don’t be an asshole
- Never stop learning
- Have common sense
- Be able to shave
All of this was taped and will be live on my new site, tpsmethod.com when it launches, but I felt that some of it was too important not to share as a Coaching Log. The one I am sharing today is on being able to shave.
Watch the video, it’s only about 5 minutes.
I hope you like it and take something from it.
