We all know how to do a band assisted pull-up, but for those that are already good at doing pull-ups, this is a great way to add some resistance other than using a dip/chin belt.
To do this exercise, anchor two bands to either side of the rack and run them through your belt. This is where band pegs make things easier! Shown is how to do it if you have a regular rack (choking them to the bottom of it).
When getting on the chin bar for the first rep, it is highly advisable to do it gradually and not jump. So position the spotter pins to help you climb to the chin bar.
