Great for adding the grip element to barbell rowing.

wrap a towel and grab it vertically in each hand. Perform the BB row as always, w/hips back and flat back, no rounding of the back.

Pull the barbell into low / mid abdomen.

you can extend the set by dropping the towels and grabbing the bar for extra reps after pre-fatiguing your hands and fingers.

I would recommend this to our grapplers and anyone in need of adding serious hand - grip strength to their arsenal.

don't over do it, hitting heavy barbell rows w/out straps is also a great way to develop hand strength
