Bodybuilder John Meadows receives a question that is sure to end with a controversial answer:
“Who do you think would win the Olympia: Dorian Yates in his prime or Ronnie Coleman in his prime, ignoring all other factors?”
Without pause, John says that Ronnie, in his prime, would win. His reasoning starts with the back — Dorian’s best feature. But if you ask John whose back is better, it’s Ronnie’s. It also helps that Ronnie had a better physique in the front and much better from the side.
But neither of these men have John’s favorite physique: Flex Wheeler in 1993, when he weighed somewhere between 218 to 220 pounds.
“You could see every muscle fiber in his body. Everything was attached perfectly. For me, that was the best body that ever walked out on stage.”
