I’m am a 53 year old lifter , like Skip ,even though I don’t compete I am definitely more from a bodybuilding vein ! I am a life long lifter whose addiction started in my teens years too .I could relate to so much of what was discussed . So often I find my self thinking , I must do my best now , put together another good run because that feeling of running out of time and when a run comes to an end thinking , is that it ? What’s left ? What now ? You can’t discuss things like that with younger lifters
Hope whatever has Skip down and out of the gym passes and he can return and get the blood and passion pumping again .
Thanks again ,
Jason Stone
I will be back in the gym in a couple more weeks. I will definitely be back to my usual self soon. Sometimes, everyone gets kicked in the teeth and I am no exception.
