In a joint effort between the London Athletic Boosters and the London Football Gridiron Club (Football Boosters), money was raised to outfit London's high school weight room. Money was raised through fundraisers and donations, not costing the school or the tax payers any money. Some of the fundraisers included, golf outings, a bowling tournament, a sportsman raffle, an euchre tournament, and many other community fundraisers.
The result? A community coming together to help the athletic department buy equipment, allowing our sport's teams to get to the next level.
