TRAIN WITH HALL OF FAMER STEVE GOGGINS
On March 1, 2003, Steve Goggins became the first man in the history of powerlifting to squat 1100 pounds. It was the same day that he hit his all-time career-best total of 2535 pounds.
Since that day, Steve has never stopped competing. He continues to train as hard as ever and has spent his time applying his powerlifting genius to the art of coaching.
If you’re questioning whether or not he can help you, consider this:
- Steve has been deadlifting over 800 pounds since 1986 — for almost 30 years! There is even a famous YouTube video of Steve deadlifting 900 pounds in training.
- Steve was the first man in the history of powerlifting to squat 1100 pounds. In an era when 1000-pound squats were nearly unheard of, Steve was already pushing the ceiling even higher and setting a new standard for strength.
- Through Goggins Force, Steve has trained many of the best competitive powerlifters, including elite-level lifters and an array of female competitors. He has worked closely with multiple elitefts team members such as Méana Franco and record-holding raw powerlifter Casey Williams. His ability to improve human performance is not unique for himself — he also has a proven record of putting amateur lifters over the top into elite-level competitive status.
- As a York Barbell Hall-of-Famer, Steve is amongst the most prestigious and decorated legends in the sport of powerlifting. His status as a powerlifting icon is accepted by all and questioned by none.
At this training camp, you will have the opportunity to learn everything you need to be a better powerlifter. Steve Goggins will spend significant time on each of the three main lifts (squat, bench press, deadlift), and offer technical demonstration and hands-on coaching for a very limited number of attendees. This is an opportunity to work in an intimate setting with one of the greatest powerlifters of all time.
In addition to each of the big three lifts, Steve will also discuss accessory work and how to program supplemental work to build a bigger total. Any remaining questions you may have for Steve can be asked freely in an open question-and-answer session that gives you the opportunity to direct the conversation. No question is too basic or advanced for Steve.
Here are some words from lifters fortunate enough to have already worked with Steve:
"I have been working with Steve Goggins since September 2014, since then I have added 110 lbs to my competition total. He corrected my squat technique so that I no longer have constant hip and back pain, and helped me break through my bench press and deadlift plateaus. Steve cares about the long term result for the athlete, I have become much stronger, my body feels better, and I am still consistently hitting new personal bests on a regular basis.
Every powerlifter should take the opportunity to learn from Steve, both about lifting and life. His honesty, knowledge, and experience separate him from any other coach you will talk to." –Meana Franco
“Training with Steve has changed my life. It put me on a path beginning at the age of 19 and I still follow the “just lift hard” mentality in all aspects of my personal and professional life.” –Doug Nostrant
“I am stronger now at 40 than I have ever been. I am at or near my top numbers now, even from when I was powerlifting in my 20’s. Aside from the wealth of training knowledge I have gained from Steve, I have also learned the little things that set apart the great lifters from everyone else.” –Dave Mathewson
