- Dr. Eric Serrano
Dr. Serrano is a graduate of Kansas State University and earned his medical degree from Kansas University. He spends most of his time attending to the health concerns of the general public at his family practice in Pickerington, Ohio. A stroll through his lobby will also reveal a number of elite-level powerlifters, bodybuilders, and professional athletes that are regular patients of his in order to deal with injuries, metabolic concerns, performance enhancement or nutrition, and training counsel.
- Joe Bennett
Joe Bennett is one of the most sought after coaches in the fitness industry. He refers to himself first and foremost as the “Hypertrophy Coach.” Bennett specializes in adding pounds of muscles and helping clients achieve their ideal physiques.
- Julia Anto (Ladewski)
Julia Anto, CSCS, is a coach to strength athletes, like powerlifters, physique competitors and crossfitters as well as recreational lifters and those seeking body transformation through muscle-building and fat loss. She takes pride in helping people from all walks of life to see and reach their full potential. Ladewski is a former Division I strength and conditioning coach from the University at Buffalo, where she worked with every sport on campus.
- Alwyn Cosgrove
Alwyn is a Taekwondo international champion and has utilized his personal experience as an athlete and combined it with the advanced theories of European sports science and the principles of modern strength and conditioning systems. He worked with a wide variety of clientele, including several Olympic and national-level athletes, five World Champions and professionals in a multitude of sports, including boxing, martial arts, soccer, ice skating, football, fencing, triathlon, rugby, bodybuilding, dance, and fitness competitions.
- JL Holdsworth
With a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Wayne State, master's degree work at the University of Kentucky in coaching, a USAW Level-1 coaching certificate, and well over 20,000 hours of practical experience, JL Holdsworth is one of the most respected strength coaches in the industry. As a competitive powerlifter, he has posted a 905-pound squat, 775-pound bench press, and 804-pound deadlift. He has also competed in mixed martial arts and grip competition. Holdsworth is the owner of The Spot Athletics, where he works with athletes of all ages and sports discipline.
- Dr. Ken Kinakin
Dr. Ken Kinakin, DC, CSCS, is a sports medicine doctor, chiropractor, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and personal trainer. He’s also the author of the book “Optimal Muscle Training” and has competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting for over 20 years. Dr. Kinakin lectures around the world to doctors and personal trainers on the areas of weight-training, rehabilitation and nutrition. He is also the clinic director for the AIM Health & Wellness clinic, with a rehabilitation and training center in Mississauga, Ontario. Dr. Kinakin founded the Society of Weight-Training Injury Specialists, an organization that educates and certifies doctors, therapists and personal trainers in the area of exercise muscle testing, rehabilitation, and treatment of weight training injuries.
- Buddy Morris
Buddy Morris, CSCS, otherwise known as Coach X to the elitefts faithful, was the first strength and conditioning coach to join the elitefts Q&A staff in 2002. Morris was a staple at the University of Pittsburgh and the originator of the Pitt Iron Works Gym where he trained five NFL hall of fame inductees, including Dan Marino, Rickey Jackson, Chris Doleman, Russ Grimm, and Curtis Martin. Morris is no stranger to rehabilitation, agility, flexibility, and speed development. He trained Roger Kingdom, who won a Gold medal in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic games in the 110-meter hurdles. Buddy Morris is recognized as one of the key pioneers in the strength and conditioning profession.
