Romario Dos Santos Alves, who we may only with great generosity call an aspiring bodybuilder, has been chasing one physique: The Incredible Hulk. While his intentions were good and his ambition undeniable, Alves turned to synthol in an attempt to emulate the great, green comic book character.
The result, unfortunately, was more Mark Ruffalo body with Lou Ferrigno arms than it was Incredible Hulk. Alves realizes this now, and has shared his story in hopes to discourage others from ever using the oil he regularly injected into his muscles.
