Absolutely crushing these hook grip pulls and I couldn't be happier. I continually think about missing 804 last year at the US Open, and not even being bale to hold onto 750 at the Southern Strength Showcase and I'm damn confident baout being a completely different deadlifter this May. As you may come to realize I'll never be happy until I hit 800 plus in a meet. Doing it on a stage as big as the Open would just be extra credit.
In this session, deficit pulls, beltless pulls, and pulls from blocks. You may think block pulls are easier than from the floor due to a shortened ROM but they tend to be more like pin presses for me than anything. I have no momentum in that position and it seems to load my hamstrings an incredible amount. Them and RDLs seem to have a hige benefit to me when I do them.
