I apologize for the delay in posting. It's been a long two weeks full of traveling and what not.
So I got to Columbus on Friday early in the evening. I picked Yessie up, then we headed to pick her brother up at the airport at 5:30pm- just in time for rush hour. So we get to Columbus international in an hour or so when it should have taken about 30 minutes...only for Yessie to remember as we were pulling up to the airport that her brother was flying into the other airport in Columbus, another 40 minutes South of where we were. I wanted to kill her, but we ended up laughing at each other on the way to get him.
We got to the compound in time to see the group that won the T-shirt contest finish up their training. Fortunately one of my clients, Mark, won so we were afforded the opportunity to meet each other. I walked in the door of the compound with Yessie and was greeted by Murph's ugly mug and a big hug. Then 280lb out of breath David Allen. Then Mr. Goggins and John Rivas hitting some huge deadlifts.
Finally I got around to meeting Mark. He's a good dude and listens attentively. He's made huge strides already with his training. We went over some bench cues to help him get tighter and clean up his set up. (He went on to compete a few weeks later and hit a couple really easy PR's)
Yessie's brother and I were headed to the XPC finals the next day and Yessie was headed to the convention to work the Rogue American Apparel booth, so we shut it down early-ish that night.
