I’m currently in meet prep for the RPS Lexen Spring Fling in Columbus, Ohio on May 9th, 2015. I will be competing in my first multi-ply meet, going bench only at 148 pounds.

Sunday I was back in the shirt and getting some more work in. I'm doing a much better job overall setting the shirt, getting things where I want, and just being comfortable in the shirt. I've got 2 more sessions in it before meet day, so considering I've handled the weights I plan to at the meet, I am on a good path. I think moving forward in the future I will be able to push it more, but my only goal for this meet is to get on the board and have some fun. I took my opener for a really good fast single, and what I'm thinking will be my second attempt with a reverse band. Both were excellent, and I couldn't be happier. The guys that train with me have never been around gear, and they are doing a fantastic job helping me out. Good training partners make things so much easier.
Next weekend I will be at Elitefts to get one more big shirt day in, and then it's basically cruise time until the meet.
