Friday I drove into Ohio, 6 hours, only cause I stopped several times to stretch my legs- it was a no hurry drive. Once in I did my chores (cause I know whats best for me) ate rested and finally got out on the bike.
We rode 15 miles in one hour and fifteen minutes, keeping the pace right at 11 mph throughout. The course was the back roads of rural Ohio, which to me their highways even seem rural but that's neither here nor there.
I feel all these new aspects of training are going to take me farther up the forearm scale ( inside joke).
For the fat boys don't be afraid to get a bike I was terrible at first using the most comfortable gear to climb hills feeling like I was going to die, now I'm solid and have a decent endurance built up. It's a great easy and fun low impact way to get that cardio up.
