Block 8, Wave 4 - Snatch/OH/SQ Deload
Fall finals are stealing my soul and trying to squeeze the life out of me right now. Fortunately, this is exactly where I would program a deload in my training, if I were to do such a thing. Even if it weren't, I would have made this a deload anyway because trying to train hard through PT school finals is NOT a good idea, and I know from experience. I changed up snatches today and it was joyful and triumphant. I really like doing them off of blocks (and not working up to a 3 RM like the first time I did them), as it forces me to focus more on a different part of the lift and for me in particular, I think this will be very helpful moving forward.
