Block 8, Wave 1 - DL
Good day of training. I kept my intensity dialed down a notch on everything today since I am competing this weekend. Nothing is on the line except for having an awesome time and while I don't want to do anything extreme like take a deload, neither do I want to make myself cripplingly sore or fatigued. Oh, and I have a written exam and a practical on Thursday for which my brain needs to be fully functional.

9x520 - Of course, on a day I'm trying to dial it down I feel like I could have hit 15+ reps on my last set.
Sometimes when it feels like the bar is glued to the floor, I swear I'm focusing too much on technique and what I need to fix and not enough on actually picking up the stinkin' barbell. Technique is important and fixing your eff ups can help make you a better lifter, but not at the expense of actually sacking up and tugging.
