60'x450/--- - A.K.A. putting the yoke away
I know a number of strongmen and strongwomen who wear lever belts so that they can use the belt for the first part of a medley (like the yoke in the case of my training today) and then pop it off for the second part (keg carry in this example). I have never felt like wearing a belt was a hindrance for me on front carries, as long as I twist the buckle around to the side or back so it is out of the way. Nothing wrong with a lever belt, but if you do it this way, try leaving it on with the buckle to the side instead and see which way is faster for you.
