Dan Falcone came down to train with me today since we are both heading to US Strongman nationals in a couple weeks.  I didn't have a good training day in terms of how everything felt, but I still was able to do what I had planned.  We also had to move all the equipment outside to train since there was a USAW certification class in the normal area used for weightlifting and strongman indoors.  The weather was good and it wasn't too hot out though, plus most of my training partners all happened to be at Colosseum (thanks Nick, Mike, and Inman) so no problems there.  Gregg was there as well, but he got there later than the rest of us and was training different events so he joined in with the Colosseum guys.

Yoke

2x60'x270

2x60'x360

60'x450

60'x590

60'x700

60'x720 - Switched to the bigg dogg yoke for this run, but for whatever reason that particular yoke always feels a lot worse than most other yokes.  It definitely showed since my time on the 720 run was a second and a half slower than my time on the other yoke.

Frame Carry

60'x310

60'x490

30'x600

60'x700 - Pick was slow, but the carry was pretty good.

Car DL

We used straight weight for this on the frame today rather than a car, which is why the weights look ridiculous.

10x600 - Used a tire as the base weight.  It might have been heavier than 600, but we went with the more conservative guesstimate.

10x690

2x5x780 - Added Jack DL suit on the second set

3x870 then right into 3x1,020 - I got a 250 lb Inman to jump up and sit on the tire after the first 3 reps.

10x960

Stone Over Bar (51")

5x240

1x300

1x240, 1x250, 1x300, 1x330

5x300
