Earlier this week I posted that I planned on event training this weekend with the focus of to just enjoy training. That was accomplished, along with spending far too long with a detour that wrecked me for everything to come.
Plate Flips
This was the culprit and I will blame it all on Clint Darden. Once I have an opportunity to review the vids I have on a bigger screen, I will write a post specifically about this adventure.
Two hours later, it was time to get some of my planned work in.
Farmers
180, 1x100 ft (turns at 50 ft)
180, 2x50 ft
The clips flew off and my grip was shot. I left the implement laying in the middle of the floor with plates thrown about and picked them up as I passed by and needed for yoke. It was actually a very efficient plan.
Yoke - 30 foot starts
I am not too tied into the weight on any of my yoke runs. I know there is a big variable with my cruddy yoke and the ones in competition. I tend to categorize them as light, not too bad and spine crushing weight.
225 - 3x30 ft
275, 2x30 ft
365, 2x30 ft
365, 1x50 ft
455, 2x50 ft
My legs were shot and I had been at the gym far too long to work any additional grip.
