Block 8, Wave 3 - DL
Training today was scheduled based on taking a break from studying for a double final practical in ther-ex and modalities. This was also the 3rd heavyish training day in a row and I feel worn out physically and mentally and finals don't really kick in until Monday next week. As such, I took it a little easier on my supplemental and accessory exercises, but training really helped me feel better overall since I had been sitting and studying for much of the day. I'm going to ease up on the stress I'm putting on myself with training for the next week until I finish up fall semester. It's funny because Joe Schillero's presentation on mental health from this past weekend at RMU is running through my head as I type this. If you ever get the chance to hear him speak about this, I highly recommend it since much of what he covers applies to some degree to almost all athletes, strength or otherwise.
