5 Sleeps out and I'm anxious as heck to get on that platform. Training is done now it's time to use my Foam Roller and try and relax.
Self-myofascial release is now recognized as an integral part of proper recovery and warmup. Rolling around on a quality foam roller like this one will make you feel better and perform better.
Today I worked on rolling all my muscles, stretching my hips and my shoulders making sure I am good and ready for Sat!
I will do this everyday this week!
I find the most valuable part of my training is the rest prior to competing. I need at least a week off from lifting, that way when I hit the platform I have NO EXCUSES !
