What do you do for vacation ? Ken and I travel to places like Elitefts to train, visit friends and team members who have become family. We arrived at the S4 Compound a day early because this is what we love to do, some call us crazy, I call it passion.

So we arrive at 10:15 a.m. on Friday June 26th, Traci says let's do leg day! Well, I have to say, sure I got this, body builders type of leg day will be nothing compared to the heavy squats and deadlifts I'm used too, how hard can it be right ?

Hack squats galore is all I have to say, I don't even know how many we did, so many I lost count but the strip set finisher was awesome.

Leg curls, so light I thought to myself, until you do like a hundred and something reps.

Bulgarian split squats, my worst enemy, especially with my bad knee but to my surprise I was perfectly fine with them. I guess I have built up so much muscle my worn out knee isn't feeling sore anymore, awesome ! Ok, major leg burn and sweat going on, why did I say yes.

We call it a leg day after calfs and head for lunch, thank goodness it was Traci's carb load day !

UGGS Friday night team training, what am I going to do my legs are fried and I know I have to teach kettlebells at some point in the evening.

Well my beautiful team mate Yessica was looking for a squat buddy so guess what, I'm a team player so I took a squat session for the team.

That was all the gas I had in my leg tank for sure, but then I got to witness and help Yessica squat 440 Lbs first time in a Squat Suit! Amazing strength and these sessions bring out the best in everyone!

Ok for my last and 3rd training session of the day, onto Kettlebells with Traci Tate and the famous Nefi Darden. I had the amazing opportunity to teach Nefi kettlebells and refresh Traci. I might add it was about 100 degrees and muggy in there, that is why I looked like I just got out of the shower.

We had a great time and Nefi and Traci learned a lot more about kettlebells than meets the eye. I got the chance to Live, Learn and Pass On.

As for my legs, we will see what Saturday brings at the Powerlifting Experience 2 !
