Block 10, Wave 2 - SQ
I fulfilled my sworn oath to perform conditioning at the end of training today and it was every bit as humbling as I suspected it would be based on my current state of slothfulness. It was frigid outside and the wind was howling, but in the words of Theodore Geisel's beloved Horton, "I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful one hundred percent." On the bright side, as long as I don't behave in the manner of a sandbaggin' S.O.B., I know from experience that this will suck for about a month or two and then get a lot better. I would have preferred it if I could have squatted on Wednesday, but having a three hour online lecture in the evening after I get home from class means it's pretty unlikely I'll be training on Wednesdays this semester except for here and there when my schedule changes. I am nothing if not adaptable though, which is a good thing since I have no other choice but to be so, at least until I graduate from PT school.

Whether because I am currently a disgusting fatbody who pushes a sled like old people fornicate or because of the cold(er) air outside, my lungs were the limiting factor on my speed during conditioning today. It's gonna be even more interesting tomorrow doing conditioning right when all the soreness is setting in from today's squats. AND I CAN'T WAIT.
