Speed Lower

I felt a lot better today than on my last speed lower day so I bumped up  a little on my last couple sets of both squats and deads.  This made good mornings extra awful feeling, leading to many guttural utterances and a not insignificant amount of profanity out in the garage.  I took no video today because I honestly just forgot because I was so focused on training and feeling good.

I did seem to be doing something funky on the work sets of DL where I had my hands alternated the opposite way (I was switching each set), but other than that everything was lovely.  I am considering setting up my hanging scale to get an actual measure on the band tension, purely from a curiosity stand point.  That might have to wait a little bit though since exam season is upon me with my first two coming up in cardiac and neuro on Monday and Tuesday next week.

I was keeping my lats a lot tighter on squats today and it made a huge difference in how they felt and moved.  Shocking, I know.

These were the most terrible feeling GMs I've done since I started them.  Warmup set and first work set were OK, but the last 2 sets were miserable with several breaks standing with the bar on my back to breathe and talk myself into keeping going.
