This past weekend was a great one. It started out with some light back work. Normally Saturdays are my deadlift days, but we had planned for a deload, and because of all the wedding shenanigans, I didn't have a ton of time, so it worked out perfect. It was a quick, get in, get it done, and get out training session.
We decided to have a second wedding reception for all of Seth's family, it started out as planning a small barbeque, then turned into renting a golf course. It turned into a much bigger affair than we had bargained for, but we enjoyed ourselves and were glad to spend time with all of Seth's closest friends and family. I actually enjoyed getting dolled up, and really genuinely enjoyed meeting all the people who have had an impact on Seth's life. The cheesecake and wine were delicious too.
The next day we decided to go for a hike in Canmore. Seth has been taking me to all the top tourist hikes, but this time he took me to his personal favorite hike. A little closer to home, no tourists, spotted some real rock climbers, and drank straight from the fresh mountain spring. It made for a great hike and a great end to a perfect weekend.
