Today I decided to do 2" block pulls for doubles. Block pulls from that height are normally a weak movement for me because it takes away some of my leg drive off the floor, but I hit a good training PR of 625x2. The first rep flew up and the 2nd would've been even easier had I been a little more patient on my setup. Since I already hit some good doubles I decided to try 660 for a single but was out of gas and got stuck right at my knees. Overall it was a good day, and with it being a kind of rough week it was nice to get away from work during my lunch break to clear my head and do some heavy pulling. I followed up deadlifts with heavy reverse hypers and standing abs, and tried to focus on the things Dave Tate talked to me about last weekend. Making progress..
