May 23rd I had the amazing opportunity to train at the Elitefts S4 Compound. My goal was to hit my openers and be confident in my lifts. Training with my Coach Molly Edwards helped me achieve this. It really does make a difference in training when you train with different people and open up your mind to suggestions with your technique and training. With the help of Ted Toalston I was able to take a hip movement out of my squat and make 325 Lbs seem smooth and easy. Huge thank you to Ted and Molly for your help !

SQUATS ( I treated my squats like a meet day)

Bar x 10

95 Lbs x 5

145 Lbs x 3

195 Lbs x 2

245 Lbs x 1 ( Ted noticed I set my hips back after unrack)

285 Lbs x 1 (Quick fix, set my hips under bar first felt way better)

305 Lbs x 1

325 Lbs x 1

DEADLIFTS

135 Lbs x 5

185 Lbs x 3

225 Lbs x 2

275 Lbs x 1

315 Lbs x 1

365 Lbs x 1 (this felt heavy I was tired from travel and squats but I did not give up)

385 Lbs x 1 ( I put baby powder on my legs and the bar slid up a lot easier and I was determined not to give up)

405 Lbs x 1 (Hit my opener and I am confident with this weight as a good solid opener)

After I got my Squat and Deadlift openers in place I taught Traci and Heather some Kettlebells for approximately 1.5 Hours.  See my next training log for that, I had an amazing day Living, Learning and passing on !

Thanks to all the Staff at Elitefts especially Dave and Traci Tate, Molly and Ted for your help on the weekend, it was a privilege and honour to be able to train with you!
