Today was straight weight, but on a Watson 77 lb football bar- this thing was massive. The goal was to work up to a heavy single. I got 507 to win the day for an easy single and took another jump looking to strain, I went to 527 and moved well, I just got into the racks, the neutral hand position makes you really want to drive back over your face.
This was my first time using that bar and I liked it - 77 lbs that thing is a tank, also for the record I'm undefeated on a ME bench day so far and plan to stay that way.
We hit shoulders, triceps, biceps, and some back and called it a day, victory!
